Managing Your Subscription and Payment Methods
How to see your plans, change them, update your card, find and download invoices, and cancel.
Your Subscription, Your Control
Everything here happens on the Billing page, under Settings. Seeing the page needs billing access to the account, and changing anything needs the account owner or someone they've allowed to manage billing.
Viewing Your Current Plan
The Billing page shows every plan you have, its status, how many sites are on it, and what each line item costs. If a plan is set to end, it shows the date, and you keep it until then.
Changing Your Plan
Need more room, or want to scale back? You can switch plans anytime.
- Go to Billing
- Find Change plan, and choose monthly or yearly billing
- Click Switch to this plan next to the one you want
- Review the change and confirm
The new plan's limits apply straight away. The price difference for the rest of your current billing period is worked out to the day: moving up adds a charge and moving down adds a credit, and either one appears on your next regular invoice rather than being charged on the spot.
See Understanding Your Plan and Usage Limits for what each plan includes.
Updating Your Payment Method
Add or update a card under Payment methods on the Billing page, or use Update payment details to manage it directly through our payment provider, Stripe. We never store your full card number on our servers.
Your Invoices
All your invoices are under Invoice history on the Billing page. You can filter them by status, sort them newest or oldest first or by amount, and download any of them as a PDF.
You'll see three kinds:
| Invoice | When it's created |
|---|---|
| Your plan | At the start of each billing period, monthly or yearly, including any add-on blocks on that plan and any plan-change charges or credits since the last one |
| Overage | After a month ends, only if a plan went over its storage or visits. It's charged to your card on file and we email it to you |
| Other products | The Newsletter and some other products have their own subscription and their own invoices |
Add-On Blocks
Need more storage or visits without a full plan upgrade? Add-on blocks raise a plan's limits for $9 a block per month, which costs less than overage if you're over most months. See Add-On Blocks: Expand Your Plan Limits and Save.
Canceling Your Subscription
We'd hate to see you go. Reach out through Support and we'll take care of it for you. Your plan continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
