Newsletter
Write to the people who already like your business, from your own name. We set it up, we run it, and you never touch a setting you do not understand.
Everything a Newsletter Needs
A mailing list is the one audience nobody can take away from you. This is the whole thing that runs it, set up by us and handed over working.
Sends From Your Own Name
Your newsletter goes out from your own domain, not a shared address with our name on it. We set that up with you and check the records it needs before anything sends.
An Editor That Survives Outlook
Drag the pieces into place, write the words, send it. What you build looks right on a phone and in Outlook, which is where most email design falls apart.
Your Blog, Mailed on Its Own
Point us at your blog and every new post goes out to your list without you doing anything. No copying a post into an email every week.
Signup Forms for Your Site
A hosted form you can link to and an embedded one for your own pages, with the confirmation email handled so the addresses you collect are real ones.
Reporting Led by Clicks
Apple opens email on people's behalf now, so open rates have stopped meaning much. We lead with clicks: who went to your site because of what you sent.
Unsubscribes Taken Care Of
One click to leave, honoured the moment it is pressed, with the postal address the law requires sitting in the footer. None of it is your problem.
Priced on the Size of Your List
You pay for the people you can actually mail. Anyone who unsubscribes or turns out to be a dead address stops counting the day it happens.
Every plan includes
- Unlimited lists and tags, on one bill
- Import the list you already have from a spreadsheet
- Double opt-in, so the addresses you keep are real
- Campaigns sent now or scheduled for later
- Blog posts mailed out automatically
- Click reporting on every send
- One-click unsubscribe and preference pages
- Consent records kept for every subscriber
- A sending name on your own domain, set up with you
- Export everything in one click, any time
If your list outgrows its plan
Nobody gets turned away at your signup form. We charge $4 per extra 1,000 subscribers for that month, and if the next size up would cost you less than that, we tell you.
How the count is taken
From the highest mailable count your list reached that month. Import 3,000 people and clean it back to 1,000 the next day, and the month still counts as 3,000. We would rather say so now than surprise you on an invoice.
No hosting plan needed
This is not an add-on to something bigger. Buy the newsletter and nothing else, keep your site wherever it lives now, and cancel any month you want to.
How It Goes
Most people are sending within a day or two. The slow part is deciding what to write, not the setup.
Set Up Your Sending Name
We point your newsletter at a name on your own domain and walk you through the couple of records it needs. We check them for you before the first send.
Bring Your List Over
Upload the list you already have, or start from nothing with a signup form on your site. Every address keeps a note of where it came from.
Write It, or Skip That
Build the email in the editor. Or point us at your blog and let new posts go out on their own while you get on with the day.
Send and See What Happened
Schedule it or send it now. Afterwards you see the clicks, how the list is growing, and anything worth a second look.
A Person, Not a Support Portal
The big newsletter tools hand you a login and wish you luck. We set your sending up, check the records, look at your first campaign before it goes, and answer when you message us.
Your list is the most valuable thing you own online, so we treat sending reputation as our problem. That is why big imports get checked, why unsubscribes are honoured on the spot, and why we tell you when a rung would cost you less than what you are paying.
We also build websites, apps, and run the technology in the room. If the newsletter is the first thing you buy from us, it is the only thing you have to buy.
Already writing somewhere else?
Bring the list and the history over. Export what you have from your current tool, send it to us, and we will get it in, keep the consent records straight, and set your sending name up before you press send.
Ask About Moving OverDo I have to host my website with you?
No. The newsletter is bought on its own and needs nothing underneath it. Plenty of people who use it have their site somewhere else entirely, and that is fine by us.
What do I need before I can send?
A domain you own. Your newsletter sends from a name on that domain, which means adding a couple of records where your domain is managed. We tell you exactly what to add, and we check it for you. If we already look after your domain, there is nothing for you to do.
Can I bring the list I already have?
Yes. Upload it as a spreadsheet and we keep a record of where each address came from, which is what you want if anyone ever asks. Imports over 500 addresses get a quick look from us first. A bought list damages sending for everybody, so we check before it goes anywhere.
What counts as a subscriber?
Only the people you can actually mail. Anyone who unsubscribes, complains, or turns out to be a dead address stops counting the day it happens, and you never have to archive anyone to stop paying for them. Someone on two of your lists is one subscriber, not two.
What happens if my list grows past my plan?
Nothing breaks and nobody gets turned away at your signup form. We charge $4 per extra 1,000 subscribers for the month, worked out from the highest mailable count your list reached. If the next size up would cost you less than that, we say so.
Do you show open rates?
We show them, quietly, with a note about why they are unreliable. Apple Mail opens messages on its own now, so an open rate reads far higher than the number of people who really looked. Everything that matters here runs on clicks instead.
Can I run more than one list?
Yes, as many as you like, and it stays one line on your bill. A shop with a wholesale list and a retail list runs both on one plan.
What if I want to leave?
Cancel whenever you like. Your subscribers, your consent records, and everything you have sent export in one click and stay yours. There is nothing to unpick and nobody to argue with.
What Our Clients Say
We've looked after our clients' websites, email, and technology for years. Here's what it's like to work with us.
"I think the best thing is that my tech works and I don't have to think about it at all anymore. I know the site is in the hands of people who know what they're doing."
