Managing Domains and DNS

Point your domain to your site, add extra domains, and manage your DNS records, all from your dashboard.

Domain Management Basics

Your domain is how people find your site. You can manage it either through your website's own page, or through the Domains section in the sidebar, which covers everything across your account: registration, DNS and email sending.

Pointing a Domain to Your Site

Go to Websites → [Your Site] → Domain Management. There you'll find the address your domain's A record needs to point to, along with an Add Domain button.

You can manage your DNS through Cloudflare, your domain registrar, or through us, whichever you already use. Point your existing DNS at the address we show you, or hand your domain's nameservers to us and manage records here instead.

DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate, though it's usually much faster, often just a few minutes.

Setting Your Primary Domain

Add every domain that should point to your site on the Domain Management tab, then click Set as Primary next to the one that should be the main address people see in their browser and in search results.

Managing DNS Records

If your domain's nameservers point to us, you can add and edit records directly under Domains → DNS in the sidebar:

  • A / AAAA Records: point a domain to a server
  • CNAME Records: create domain aliases
  • MX Records: configure email routing
  • TXT Records: verify domain ownership or add SPF/DKIM records for email
  • NS, SRV and CAA Records: for more advanced setups

Click Add Record to get started.

Forwarding Email

Want an address like hello@yourdomain.com to land in an inbox you already check? Set up email forwarding from your domain's DNS zone page. It's free with your plan.

Troubleshooting

If your domain isn't working after a change, double check that:

  • Your A record points to the correct address
  • You've waited long enough for DNS to propagate
  • There are no conflicting records, like two A records for the same name
