Starting Your Free Trial

Your first 30 days of the Newsletter are free, on the plan for up to 1,000 subscribers. Every tool is included, so you can set up your address, bring your list over and send real emails before you pay anything.

How the trial works

• It lasts 30 days. After that it becomes the 1,000 plan at $15 a month, charged to your card on day 31.
• We take a card when you start. Nothing is charged during the 30 days.
• We email you the day before it ends, so it never catches you by surprise.
• Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
• Extra subscribers are free during the trial. If your list grows past 1,000 while you're trying it out, there's no extra charge for that.

Who can start it

• Each account gets one free trial, ever. If your business has had the Newsletter before, even briefly, the trial isn't offered and you choose a plan instead.
• Your list has to fit the 1,000 plan when you start. If you already have more than 1,000 subscribers, pick the plan that fits from the plan sizes.
• You need to be the account owner, or someone they've given billing access to. Other team members see a note asking them to check with the owner. See Who on Your Team Can Do What.

Starting it if you already have an account

1. Go to Newsletter → Overview in the sidebar.
2. Click Turn on Newsletter.
3. If there's already a card on your account, the trial starts straight away. If not, you'll go to a secure Stripe page to add one, then come back.

You can also start it from Newsletter → Settings → Plan & sending, where you'll see Try it free for 30 days with a Start free trial button. And while you're eligible, a banner across the top of your dashboard offers it too, with a Try it free button.

Starting it if you're new to Reggio Digital

1. Go to reggiodigital.com/newsletter/checkout.
2. Leave the plan on the smallest size. The free month only comes with the 1,000 plan.
3. Fill in your name, email address, business name and a password.
4. Click Start free trial. Stripe takes your card, and nothing is charged for 30 days.

You don't need a website or hosting with us.

During the trial

The banner at the top of your dashboard counts down to the end date, with a Manage button that takes you to your plan. The same date is shown on the Plan & sending tab.

Moving to a bigger plan ends the trial. If you pick a larger size while you're on the free month, the trial ends and the new plan starts that day, charged to your card straight away. The confirmation box tells you this before anything changes.

Cancelling before it ends

1. Go to Newsletter → Settings and open the Plan & sending tab.
2. Open Your plan and billing.
3. Click Remove newsletter, then Confirm.

The page then says your trial will not renew and nothing will be charged. Your lists and campaigns stay in your account if you change your mind, and you can still export your subscribers from the Subscribers page.

If you do nothing

On day 31 your card is charged $15 and the Newsletter carries on as the 1,000 plan. You can change the size or remove it any time after that. See What the Newsletter Does and What It Costs.
